It's my 50th birthday. As of an hour ago, I'm 50! no more forties, no more thirties, thank God no more twenties or teens. I've been looking forward to 50 and now suddenly it feels strange and weird...like a costume instead of the real me. Is that what time is? An imaginary outer layer to hide the real truth of existence?
